From public infrastructure to private development
Johnson started fourteen years ago on work the public depends on but rarely notices: bridges, transit structures, municipal buildings. Projects measured in decades, judged on whether they’d still be standing long after everyone involved had moved on.
Over the last several years, we brought that discipline to private development. Mixed-use, adaptive reuse, residential towers. The work moves faster and clients carry more risk, but the questions are the same ones we’ve always answered.
These two worlds make each other better. Public work gave us rigor. Private work gave us pace. Developers get both.
